The lead auditor course is divided into 4 sections.

• The first section covers the building blocks and principles of audit that govern the framework for implementing the governance of audits program. The section includes various types of audits, different approaches to conducting audits, use of internal and external standards, organizing the audit function.
• The next 3 sections cover the step by step process of conducting the audit as well as the best practices for effectively managing the audit program.
